What Is ESC's Spring Soccer All About?

The Spring Soccer Season has been designed by soccer parents like you in a little different spirit than our traditional Fall Season. We wanted to give our soccer only families a place to play in the off-season and our multi-sport families a way to continue playing soccer while still participating in other sports. Our Season consists of Sunday Games starting in Mid-February  through Mid-April . We decided on a small size format 6v6 to give the kids more time involved with actual play. Each Sunday game is intended to be a set scrimmage/practice for the teams to build their skills leading up to the end of season tournament where all finalists will receive awards. Teams are free to practice as often as they want but no mandatory practices can be forced buy a team. Thus the time commitment for parents will be considerably less than the Fall Season. Feel free to form your own teams with your friends, that’s the idea. Don’t have a team; we still have a place for you. Teams or players with other commitments on some weekends can still participate and we will work to accommodate you.  The Spirit of the Season is a fun Sunday afternoon playing soccer with friends in the park while improving fitness and soccer skills for the future.

Bringing an Entire Team to Spring League?

 

If you are attempting to form a team to bring to Spring League, you may submit your team by filling out a  Team Form.   The form will be sent directly to the Director of Spring, and each player will still need to fill out a Registration Form completely with Parent's Signature and registration fees will need to be collected.

·         20 Minute Halves

·         Modified FIFA Rules

·         No Standings kept

 

Team Formation

·         Boys and Girls Divisions U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16/18.

·         Single Player, we will assign you to a team.

·         Sign up as a Team

·         9 Players Max Per Team

·         Teams play at age of oldest player (or Higher)

·         Skilled Players/Teams can play up in older divisions

·         No Mandatory Practices

 

Registration

·         Early Signups Begin Nov. 21^th

·         $50.00 Per Player until Jan 10, 2010, then $60 Per Player
