Escondido Soccer Club Referees
The Escondido Soccer Club has a large sampling of referees to cover a wide range of games from Recreational to Competitive matches for any age/level. While we cover games mainly for the Escondido Soccer Club (FC Heat Competitive) at Frances Ryan Park our referees keep their skills up by refereeing throughout the year (Fall Season, Dave Shelton Tournament, New Years Kickoff, Spring League Season, Commissioners Cup, State Cup).

Want to Become a Referee?
If you are interested in becoming a referee for the first time, visit the
Cal South Referee website and sign up for a clinic. Upon passing the test at a referee clinic, fill out a
MEMBERSHIP FORM in order to start refereeing games for the Escondido Soccer Club.

Fee Schedule for Fall Season
(Effective July 1, 2009)
Fees paid for a 3-man referee system is $1.20 per minute.
Fees for a single referee is $0.80 per minutes for competitive games. Fees four Tournament games will be at $1.30 per minute.
Fees for recreational games are listed below but may be modified due to referee grade.
* Referee fees are always paid by the league on the field

Our Spring Season serves these main purposes:
Because of this, the pay for doing U12+ games is $36.00 for a three man system (40 minute games + 5 minute halftime). For U8 through U10 games, the fee is $15.00 for a single referee.
